Caraway Cove is located just minutes from the charming town of Oriental, NC.  With more power and sailboats in residence than people, Oriental has earned its reputation as “The Sailing Capital of North Carolina.”  Here are just a few of the activities you can enjoy:

• Incredible water access to the Neuse River, the ICW, and Atlantic Ocean.
• Fishing, boating, kayaking, and other outdoor recreation.
• The Croaker Festival is Oriental, NC's largest event.  Held each July, it offers a variety of musical entertainment, a classic small town parade, and fireworks over the harbor.
• The annual Tarpon Tournament hosts up to 75 boats that compete, with funds raised going to the Oriental Rotary Club’s scholarship program.
• The Oriental Cup Regatta is the major sailboat racing event of the year, with as many as 100 boats competing in six divisions for the Oriental Cup. 
• The Spirit of Christmas, held during the second week of December each year, celebrates the holiday with a parade and a competition for the best Christmas light decorations on a boat.
• The Running of the Dragon, is Oriental’s annual New Year’s tradition.
